Privacy Policy

We don't care who you are. We only care about how many games you buy and never play. Here is exactly how we handle your data, with zero corporate BS.

01What We Collect

When you connect your Steam account, we fetch the following PUBLIC data via the official Steam Web API:

  • Your Steam ID, display name, and avatar.
  • Your entire library of owned games.
  • Your playtime for each game.
  • Your public friends list (only if you use the Compare feature).

If your Steam profile is set to Private, we can't see anything and the app will not work.

02What We DON'T Collect

We are a stat-tracking tool, not a data broker. We will absolutely never ask for or have access to:

  • Your Steam password.
  • Your email address.
  • Your billing information, credit cards, or physical address.
  • Any private chat logs or non-public community data.

03How We Use Your Data

Your data is used strictly to power the features of this app:

  • To calculate your Backlog Score and "Money Wasted" estimates.
  • To feed into the AI Coach so it can brutally roast your gaming habits.
  • To show you comparisons against your friends.

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your data to advertisers. Period.

04Data Retention & Caching

To make the site fast and avoid hitting Steam's API limits, we temporarily cache your library stats in our database (Redis).

This cache expires automatically. If you want to wipe it immediately, simply click the "DISCONNECT" button in the sidebar. This instantly terminates your session and removes your active footprint from our system.

05Third-Party Services

We use a few external services to keep the lights on:

  • Steam API: The source of all game data.
  • Generative AI: We send small summaries of your stats (no personally identifiable info other than your gaming habits) to an LLM to generate the Roasts.
  • Analytics: We might use basic, anonymized analytics to see which pages crash the most.

Still Have Questions?

If you have concerns about your data, you can email us. But honestly, just set your Steam profile to private if you're worried.
